What is the difference between forward and reverse?
Forward asks for the meaning of a word. Reverse asks you to produce the word from its meaning.
How does cloze work?
The first occurrence of the word in your example is replaced by a gap. Include the target word in the example.
Should every word have two directions?
Only when both recognition and production matter. Remove reverse prompts whose meanings admit too many equally correct answers.
Can I import these cards into Anki?
Download TSV and map its columns to front, back and tags. CSV and JSON are also available for other workflows.
